Traditional Egg Nog

6 eggs (separated)
½ cup of white sugar
3 ounces of rye meal

Firstly beat the egg yolks and sugar together until it forms a light and fluffy mixture, add the rye, sherry, rum and evaporated milk and continue to mix until even in texture. In a separate bowl beat the egg whites and fold in some more sugar until they stiffen to form peaks. At this stage add the coffee cream and continue to mix.

When both bowls are consistent fold together while adding the whipping cream. A very thick traditional festive drink for those long cold winter nights!!!
